The International Award for Young People Nigeria is The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award in Nigeria. We are a charity organization helping young people in Nigeria regardless of their background, challenges or circumstances to discover their infinite potential by giving them access to a high quality, non formal education and learning experience which provides worldwide recognition for their achievement.
Young people are at the heart of what we do and why. Every decision we take is about trying to improve either their access to The Award or the quality of their experience doing it. We need to constantly assure ourselves and all our partners that when a young person receives their Award, especially the Gold Award, it really does mean they are #WorldReady.
Since the reintroduction of the Award in Nigeria, the success of the Award has been made possible through the dedication, support, commitment, and teamwork of our staff and volunteers.
